How to Make Ice Cream in a Blender

How to Make Ice Cream in a BlenderHello. Today I’m going to teach you how to make ice cream in a blender with milk. Now, let’s just say one day you’re home “I want some ice cream. No ice cream. No cream. No ice cream maker.” Not a problem.

With a quarter cup of milk, teaspoon of vanilla, two cups of ice cubes, four tablespoons of sugar, and a blender, and a dream, we can make some ice cream.

First up is so simple. Wash your hands. Cleanliness is important. I don’t think your guts will want to be eating your ice cream-bathroom hands for dessert. Not good times, not good times at all.

Now put a little salt. Found a little kosher salt. Kosher salt is the healthiest salt you can get. Put a little pinch in the sugar mixture.

After you obtain all your ingredients. The next easiest step is to make sure your blender is nice and clean and if not just clean it.

Put ice in there, put your vanilla, milk and sugar and salt mixture.

I’m warning you, you MIGHT want to turn down the volume on this one.

Turn on your highest setting on your blender. The highest setting. Let me figure out my highest setting, it’s like 50 buttons on this thing.

Crush the ice on this thing. Shake it up a little bit, But you’ll potentially need a spatula to push the ice down there.

If you have a lactose intolerance problem, soy milk, almond milk, or any other milk substitute will be great.

If the ice is not being crushed, do what I’m doing: add extra milk. Please be careful if you’re going to attempt this. Looks like I think it might be done. Almost. push a lot of that stuff down there. Check it if it’s good.

Everybody okay?

Keep it simple. Grab a Tupperware. Easier if it’ll cool a little bit, so that it will thicken in consistency.

It’s like a sorbet, not like ice cream but it’s a healthier version of ice cream. You can use Splenda or any type of low-cal sweetener if you’re diabetic. As I said earlier, if you’re lactose intolerant, you could easily use soy milk. No problem with that.

Grabbing the last bit. It’s pretty good. Pretty darn good.
